What happens in a Reiki session
You stay fully clothed and rest on a treatment table or a chair, whichever is comfortable. The practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above a series of positions along the body, holding each for a few minutes. Most sessions run for around forty five minutes to an hour. People commonly describe warmth, a settled feeling, or simply falling asleep. There is nothing you need to do during the session other than rest.

Most people book Reiki during a stretch of stress, disturbed sleep, grief, or general low energy, or simply because they want an hour of undisturbed rest. Reiki is a relaxation practice and is best treated as support alongside, not instead of, medical care. We do not diagnose, we do not treat illness, and we do not ask anyone to stop or change a treatment their doctor has advised.
Distance Reiki and online sessions
Distance Reiki is offered for clients who cannot come to either office, including those in the UAE, USA, UK, Australia, Singapore, Netherlands and Tanzania. A time is agreed in advance, you rest quietly wherever you are, and the session is held at that time. We speak before and after by call or video so you know what to expect and can share how it felt.

Reiki sits alongside the other sessions Mrs. Jayashree Maggirwar offers at Divyam Vaastu, so many clients combine a session with a tarot reading or sound healing in the same visit. Where a space itself feels heavy or unsettled, a Vastu consultation is often the more useful starting point, and we will say so rather than book you in for something that does not fit.
