Villas and townhouses give more scope. Here the plot shape matters, as does the position of the water source, the boundary treatment, and the garden layout. If you are still choosing between properties, plot-level issues are worth assessing before purchase rather than after, because an irregular plot or a badly positioned water body is expensive to correct once you have signed.
