What the Navratna gemstones are
Navratna means nine gems. In Jyotish each of the nine planets, the Navagraha, is traditionally associated with a gemstone: Ruby with the Sun, Pearl with the Moon, Red Coral with Mars, Emerald with Mercury, Yellow Sapphire with Jupiter, Diamond with Venus, Blue Sapphire with Saturn, Gomed (hessonite) with Rahu and Cat's Eye with Ketu.
We offer Ruby (Manik), Pearl (Moti), Red Coral (Munga), Emerald (Panna), Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj), Blue Sapphire (Nilam), Gomed (Hessonite) and Cat's Eye (Lasnya), as well as Crystal and Amethyst.
How a gemstone is chosen
A gemstone is chosen from your birth chart, not from your sun sign or your birth month. The reading looks at which planets are strong or weak in your chart and which stones should be avoided for you. A stone that suits one chart can be unsuitable for another: even Yellow Sapphire, the stone of Jupiter, a natural benefic, is advised only after a reading, and Gomed and Blue Sapphire are advised with particular care.
We advise on the stone and on whether it is worn as a ring or a pendant. If a recommendation comes out of a kundali consultation, the stone follows from that reading.
Who usually asks for gemstones
People who have had their birth chart read and been advised a stone, and people who already wear one and want it checked against their chart. For gemstones placed in a building rather than worn, see Ratnadeep Sthapana, gemstone placement as per Vastu.
How to ask for a gemstone
There is no online checkout. Send us an enquiry with the stone you have been advised, or your birth details if you would like a recommendation, and we will confirm what is available. You can also call us or message us on WhatsApp.

Navratna Gemstones guides
Navratna Gemstones: common questions
Can I wear a gemstone without a birth chart reading?
We do not recommend it. The same stone that suits one chart can be unsuitable for another, which is why every recommendation starts from the chart.
Is Yellow Sapphire safe for everyone because Jupiter is a benefic?
No. Jupiter can rule difficult houses for some ascendants, so Pukhraj is advised only after the birth chart has been read. Our Yellow Sapphire guide explains why.
What is the difference between wearing a gemstone and Ratnadeep Sthapana?
Wearing a stone relates to your own birth chart. Ratnadeep Sthapana places energised gemstones in a building as per Vastu.
Is a gemstone a remedy for illness?
No. Gemstones are worn in Jyotish as a spiritual practice. They are not a medical treatment, and experiences vary from person to person.
