Hyderabad homes and what Vastu looks at in each
Hyderabad has grown through large gated communities and plotted layouts around Gachibowli, Kondapur and Tellapur, alongside the older neighbourhoods of Secunderabad. Many families buy a plot and build, which is the best time to apply Vastu: the plot's shape and slope, the road on each side and the position of the gate are all still open.
In a plotted layout the roads around a plot matter. A plot with a road on the north or east reads well, and a corner plot is read for which two sides meet the road. A cut or extended corner changes the reading, and a cut north-east corner cannot be corrected by anything built later.
In gated-community apartments the layout is fixed, so the work is in the use of each room, the sleeping direction, heavy storage, and keeping the centre of the flat clear.

Most consultations start online, from the plot or floor plan and a compass reading, followed by a video session. On-site visits are by prior appointment across Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Gachibowli, HITEC City, Madhapur and Secunderabad.

Is a corner plot good in Vastu?
It depends on which corner. A plot with roads on the north and east reads well. Other corners are not ruled out, but the position of the gate and the plan of the house are read more carefully.
Where should the borewell and water tank go in a new Hyderabad house?
Underground water storage, sumps and borewells sit best in the north or north-east. An overhead tank is load, so it belongs towards the west or south-west rather than the north-east.
