Who we are and how we work with clients in UK

Divyam Vaastu is a Vastu Shastra and Vedic astrology practice run by the Maggirwar family, founded by Shri Yeshwant Maggirwar Ji in 1992 and led today by Mr. Avinash Maggirwar and Mr. Abhijit Maggirwar. We have worked with clients in United Kingdom since 2010. Consultations run from our offices in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) and Pune by video call, booked around GMT / BST (UTC+0/+1), and we work from your floor plan and a compass reading taken at your front door rather than from a site visit.

We have advised UK clients since 2010, more than 200 of them, from the South Asian community and from British clients curious about Vastu and Vedic astrology. Our consultations work with UK housing as it is built: Victorian terraces, semi-detached homes, converted flats and commercial premises.

Vedic astrology for clients in the UK

A Vedic astrology reading works from your date, exact time and place of birth. From these your kundali is drawn using the sidereal zodiac, and the consultation reads the chart as a whole: planetary positions, houses and the dasha period you are in. If you were born in the UK, the birth place is simply your UK town or hospital, and the time on your birth certificate or in family records is what we need. Kundali matching for marriage is available in the same way, with both charts compared on the call.

Vastu for UK homes

UK housing rarely allows structural change. Terraces share walls, flats sit inside a fixed block, and listed buildings carry their own restrictions. So the work concentrates on placement and the use of each room: where you sleep, which way the desk faces, how the kitchen is used and what sits in each corner of the plan.

London, Birmingham and Leicester

London enquiries are mostly flats, terraces and converted period houses, where the question is how to use a fixed layout well. Birmingham clients more often have semi-detached and detached family homes, which give more room to change how rooms are used. Leicester brings family homes and small business premises, often reviewed alongside an astrology consultation for the family.

We serve the rest of the UK, including Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow, in the same way. The method does not change with the city.

Online Reiki and Akashic Records sessions from the UK

Reiki with Mrs. Jayashree Maggirwar, who has practised since 2013, is available to UK clients by video call as a distance session. How sessions are scheduled for UK clients

India is 4.5 hours ahead of the UK in summer and 5.5 hours ahead in winter, so a session in your morning or early afternoon falls in our working day. Consultations are by appointment. We also make occasional trips to the UK for on-site visits, which are arranged individually when a property needs to be seen in person.

How a consultation with a client in UK runs

Video call consultation

Sessions usually run 60 to 90 minutes. We study your plan before the call rather than during it, so the time is spent on your property and not on reading drawings. We work through the property zone by zone, and recommendations are given in priority order, starting with what matters most. Calls with clients in UK are booked at an hour that suits you, not us.

Floor plan review

Send the plan in whatever form you already have. Builder drawings, estate agent or listing plans, appraisal sketches, AutoCAD and DWG files, PDFs, a photograph of a printed plan, or a measured sketch drawn by hand. Any of these work, and we will tell you if anything is missing. This is how most first consultations in UK begin.

Phone consultation

For follow-up questions after a session, or for a shorter query that does not need a full review, a phone call is enough. Written notes follow where they help.

In-person site visit

By appointment when our consultants are travelling in UK. Availability depends on our travel dates, so ask early and we will tell you honestly whether a visit is possible or whether a remote consultation serves you better.

Can Vastu be applied to Victorian and period homes in the UK?

Yes. We regularly work with Victorian terraces, Georgian townhouses and listed buildings. The advice concentrates on how rooms are used, placement, colour and lighting, so it respects the character of the building and needs no structural change.

What is Vedic astrology and how does it differ from Western astrology?

Vedic astrology, or Jyotish, uses the sidereal zodiac, measured against the fixed stars, while most Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac tied to the seasons. Vedic astrology also gives weight to the Moon, the nakshatras and dasha periods. A reading is guidance for reflection, not a prediction of events.

How accurate does my birth time need to be for a Vedic reading?

As accurate as you can find. The birth time sets the ascendant, which changes roughly every two hours, so the time on a UK birth certificate or in family records is ideal. If you only know an approximate time, tell us, and we will explain which parts of the chart that affects.

Can I have a Reiki or Akashic Records session online from the UK?

Yes. Reiki with Mrs. Jayashree Maggirwar and Akashic Records readings with Mrs. Jayashree Maggirwar or Mrs. Preeti Maggirwar are both available by video call. Reiki is offered for relaxation and wellbeing only.
